Very poor quality, some kind of very thin "wood".

I have bought many of these, for family, friends, and self. with the carry pouch, they are a beautiful and thoughtful present for those of us who like to have their own cutlery with them. (e.g. if you prefer not to use plastic cutlery when getting takeaway, or at work where the cutlery goes missing!)
