As described by the seller, it is for making small round ice cubes. One piece hooks onto another, so I don't think it will come apart. It looks very good; the plastic is hard and seems resistant. Not bad at all.

The shape is really great. The ice cubes are nice and small, so you no longer have to break down large ice blocks – perfect for cocktails, coffee, or juices. The cubes aren't all absolutely perfectly round, but that doesn't bother me at all. For the price, it's a fantastic kitchen gadget.

Well, it's not bad at all, several units come out, the size of the ice is smaller than I thought, but it's very good.
