This does the job nicely. I'm doing a test run, the probe has been recording for over 28 hours and still reads full battery, with the base station at 80%.
Temps are pretty accurate - within 1 deg of my other thermometer and close enough.
The app is not bad - better than some others i've used. You can set target temp and ambient range alarms although i haven't tested them and they probably won't work if you lose connection or the app crashes (which it does a fair bit). It has a graph over time, and while the scaling is fixed it works. It doesn't reset if it loses connection, although it stayed connected as long as i was within 50 m. the app did crash a bunch of times, but easy to restart and it just came back up.
I'm very happy with this and look forward to cooking with it soon.

Such a brilliant piece of kit! Everything about it seems so well thought out, the base station has little rubber feet to give grip, and charging can be done over a usb c - c cable, not just the included a - c. On first power up it connected immediately to the probe, and when i launched the app it also immediately showed the device and the current temperature. This is going to come in very handy for christmas.
