The quality is very poor. The metal of the kettle is so thin that it dents with just a little force. Even opening and closing the lid can cause dents in several places. Due to the deformation, it may not make a sound. It's a mistake to expect the same performance as a Japanese-made product. There is a reason why it's cheap. I only recommend it to those who are fine with simply boiling water. If you don't want to regret your purchase, I think it's better to just buy a Japanese-made product.
