It's not very convenient to use; the carrots turn into more like shavings or flakes rather than long straws. In addition, some of the vegetables get stuck in the blades and are difficult to clean/rinse; you have to scrape them out with a brush. And the plastic itself absorbs the color of the vegetables; green ones turn orange after being processed with carrots.
